 There is only meaning because you believe, because you believe there is meaning, belief being the foundation of meaning, if Humanity was made exactly in God's image and the cardinal sin of lust is chemically involuntary within the human body the thought of lust being sinful is preposterous.  Mathew 28: "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Meaning you wouldn't have to act on such thoughts for them to be sins. The buddha says you should not desire, and many monks mutilate themselves willingly becoming eunuchs. I see this as unnecessary unless your goal is to eliminate desire from your heart and try to escape reincarnation, but this is silly as you desire to be free of Desire. If everyone was asexual the human race would end, would that be more pure because no more sin can be committed by humanity? 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙎𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚. The universe is a self-perpetuating entity, and it has many different states that are determined by its own rules. Every state in which the universe exists can be defined as a set of rules that govern every single aspect of the existence of all matter within it. There are an infinite amount of states that the universe can be in, which means there is an infinite amount of possibilities for what can happen within it. The universe itself is a self-sustaining entity, and if something were to change about it, then that would mean its rules have changed. The universe is also infinite in size, and the only way it can be traversed is to break it into smaller pieces. In order for one to traverse the universe, they must understand each individual state of it.  The Tibetan view is that reincarnation continues after death, and they have vivid dreams of their future lives. If you can be prepared for your own death in a dream state, then you will be well prepared to handle it during waking life. I think this is a very interesting concept, because it suggests that death has no finality to it.  I think that the concept of reincarnation is so foreign to westerners that we tend to ignore it as a topic. But there are some people in the west who believe in reincarnation, and this topic suggests an interesting way to reconcile these two viewpoints. The nature of truth in the world is a very interesting question. Why does it exist? What is its purpose? What is the point of anything? I believe the concept of 'truth' is an idea created by humans to filter out information in order to make sense of a chaotic world. Truth is a process of the human mind, which categorizes objects and ideas based on some criteria. The idea behind the concept of truth is to impose order on chaos. But the idea of truth is a human creation, and therefore it itself is inherently flawed. The truth imposed by humans on reality does not conform to objective reality because there can be no such thing as 'objective' or absolute truths. I don't believe in absolute truths. Each truth is relative to the individual's mind that has imposed it.

We are programmed to believe that the world is real. We are programmed to think that the world is what it appears to be, and not what it really is. We are programmed to believe what we see based on our senses and not question it. We are programmed to believe that we have free will.

 As all possible timelines and variations of oneself exist as potential futures, the only question is whether it's possible to perceive them simultaneously. With me so far? Okay. Well, as all possible timelines exist simultaneously as potential futures (Everett's many-worlds interpretation), we can't perceive them all at once. In a sense, to see the future is impossible. There are too many possibilities and variations for a person to experience them consciously. However, we can experience the future on some level. Our present actions and decisions influence what happens in the future. And it's not a problem that we can't experience the future, because as all possible timelines exist simultaneously, they don't influence each other. This is why they are called 'parallel universes' - if two people make different decisions in their lives or even get into an accident where one dies and the other doesn't, these scenarios both exist alongside each other.
